Using evidence from Poland in EU courts – private investigator support

Are you involved in litigation in Berlin, London, or Barcelona while the key evidence is in Poland? If so, whether it’s an unreliable business partner, a debtor hiding assets, or a counterfeit production site, you need professional, on-the-ground support.

As a Polish detective agency, we specialize in gathering legally valid evidence for international clients. We deliver strong, admissible evidence that strengthens your position in court, no matter which EU country you are in.

Will evidence collected in Poland be admissible abroad?

Yes. Judicial cooperation in Europe is based on mutual recognition. It applies in civil and commercial matters under Regulation (EU) No 1215/2012 (Brussels I bis).

For evidence to be effective abroad, it must meet two conditions:

  1. It must be collected 100% legally in Poland, which is our responsibility. Moreover, we follow the Polish Act on Detective Services of 6 July 2001, and know local laws.
  2. It must be admissible under foreign rules. Courts abroad may have different requirements. So, we work with your lawyers to ensure compliance, including European Investigation Order cases.

Our advantage: we don’t just collect evidence, but we ensure it is admissible internationally.

GDPR without borders – protecting your case

GDPR violations can be used by opponents. They do not automatically invalidate evidence. However, judges may reject evidence obtained in breach of privacy rights.

EU courts consider Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR), and mistakes in Poland can ruin your case.

We integrate compliance from the start. Each assignment uses a documented legal balancing test under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. It shows that the client’s legitimate interest outweighs privacy rights. This is your insurance that evidence is hard to challenge.
